Duct Tape Series

Applying tape and rivets to my artwork has been something that I’ve done for years. It harkens back to the days when tattoo flashes (tattoo design sheets) were fastened to artists’ shop walls. Tattooers would tape the edges to preserve the art and use rivets so that the panels could be quickly taken off the walls and used by tattoo artists for tracing, reference, or making acetate stencils.
